This template allows to specify localizable acronyms for different eras. Meant as a helper template to {{Other date}}.

Usage

Parameters

Parameter name	Description	Default value	required or optional?
parameter #1 (1)	Era: for dates before birth of Christ use BC (Before Christ), BCE (Before Common Era) or BP for dates after birth of Christ use CE (Common Era) or AD (Anno Domini) use BP for Before Present years use AH for dates in Islamic calendar	empty	required

lang	language code (only needs to be provided if the language shall be fixed and independent of the user's preferences)	language code of the user language	optional

Localization

To add your language to the list of languages supported by this template, please edit the template and add a row to the "{{LangSwitch|}}" construct. It takes the form "|xx=Your translation" (xx being the code of your language)
