Categories should remain small enough. When a category is small enough (that means well sorted into subcategories) one seldom needs this extra "show subcategories" template. Please consider adding {{crowded}} together with {{Category tree}}

This template provides a way to show all subcategories of a specific category.

Usage

{{Category tree}}

Syntax

• {{category tree}} - basic form, uses the name of the category page it is placed on
• {{category tree|category page}} - uses category page as the category page name

Examples

• {{category tree|Films}}

will create this box:

Localization

To add your language to the list of languages supported by this template, please edit the template and add a row to the "{{LangSwitch|}}" construct. It takes the form "|xx=Your translation" (xx being the code of your language)
