This template is used in the "date" parameter of the {{Information}} template to render the words "according to EXIF data" in the language specified in the user's preferences.

Usage

Or use the shorthand AccordingToEXIF

There are two possible ways to use this template:

  • Use the template without any parameters. It just renders the words "according to EXIF data" in the language specified in the user's preferences.
  • Give the date in ISO 8601 form (YYYY-MM-DD) as a parameter. The template displays the date (localized by {{ISOdate}}) and renders the words "according to EXIF data" in the language specified in the user's preferences.

dip Display also the date in parentheses, e.g. {{According to EXIF data|2024-12-12|dip=1}} renders as "(, according to EXIF data)". This parameter is deprecated. Use origdate instead. empty deprecated
