Combining into frame around central display port: 5x3 element table (works)
The additional topleft1, topleft2 etc. had to be introduced because the rounding is wider than the side borders. A 3x3 grid with columnspan did not work, see Category_talk:Symbolic smartphone border. A grid with 5 colums, the corners being two explicit cells (with topleft1/2, topright1/2, etc.):

Mediawiki cannot stretch images!
Problem: mediawiki thumb scaling is always true to the ratio, it is not possible to stretch an image. Nor is it possible to let the browser do this...
