Collection and habitat data
Euplectus elongatus has been found in leaf litter and under bark of a decaying log (Wagner 1975[1]). In New Brunswick, adults were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an old eastern white cedar (Thuja occidentalis L.) forest, and an old red pine forest. Adults were collected during June, July, and August.
