agriotypiform (adjective; Greek agrios, wild; typos, type; Latin forma, shape): (Arthropoda: Insecta) In Hymenoptera, referring to the peculiar form of larval Agriotypidae, with the first instar having a heavily sclerotized, mandibulate head, rows of spiniform setae on the succeeding segments, and a slender, bifurcate caudal appendage.
