rhynchodaeum (noun; Greek rhynchos, snout; demas, body): 1. (Annelida: Hirudinoidea) A cavity at the anterior end of the digestive tract.

2. (Nemertina) A tubular chamber anterior to the proboscis, opening anteriorly by means of the proboscis pore.
