cordylus (noun; plural cordyli; Greek kordyle, swelling): (Cnidaria: Hydrozoa) Small clubs composed of large gastrodermal cells covered by a thin epidermis, mounted on sensory cushions between the tentacle bases of certain hydromedusae; sense clubs.
