Cephalopoda also cephalopods (noun, plural; Greek kephale, head; pous, foot): A Class of Mollusca containing the squid, cuttlefish, octopus, argonaut, and spirula, with head-foot bearing a ring of appendages, (many, 10 or 8), generally equipped with adhesive structures, suckers or hooks.
