Remarks

Notomastus latericeus Sars, 1851 was described from Norway and has been reported widely around the world. Hernández-Alcántara and Solís-Weiss (1993[8], 1998[12] and 1999[9]) reported it from the Gulf of California but following examination of their material it was found that they are similar to the type material of Notomastus magnus Hartman, 1947.
