Type species: Patara radiata (= Ileifea radiata) Synave, 1979, by original designation.

Diagnosis

The genus is characterized by:

  • The anterior cubital area of the forewing encloses two cells.
  • The terminal vein of CuA1+2 joins the posterior branch of M with a single vein.
  • CuA forks apicad of junction of claval veins.
  • The apical anterior cubital cell is longer than the basal one.
  • A cross-vein is present between r and m.
