Type species: Patara radiata (= Ileifea radiata) Synave, 1979, by original designation.
Diagnosis
The genus is characterized by:
- The anterior cubital area of the forewing encloses two cells.
- The terminal vein of CuA1+2 joins the posterior branch of M with a single vein.
- CuA forks apicad of junction of claval veins.
- The apical anterior cubital cell is longer than the basal one.
- A cross-vein is present between r and m.
