Type locality

”Andibus Peruvianis”.

Label

”Peru + Bolivia”. M.C. label style I, IV.

Dimensions

”Long. 18, diam. 7 mill.”; figured specimen herein H 18.3, D 6.82, W 9.0.

Type material

NHMUK 1975163, lectotype; 1975164, two paralectotypes (Cuming coll.).

Remarks

The label is apparently partly in error, as this species is only known from southern Peru. The current systematic position is after Breure (1979)[3].
