Description
Male: ventrite six with a single row of 12 / 13 short spines Fig. 10 F; aedeagus Fig. 10 E. Female: spermatheca Fig. 10 D.
Etymology
Etymology. I have great pleasure in naming this species in honour of Colin Johnson not just because of the work he did on these Acrotrichis, but in recognition of the encouragement and support he has given for my interest in Ptiliidae over more than thirty years.
Discussion
Remarks. The short antennae and shape of the genitalia will quickly distinguish this small species.
Materials Examined
Type data. Holotype: ♀, Isalo N.P. Analalava Forest, ISL/ Jan. 2013 /04 GPS 222, sifting litter, Winkler app. extraction, S. 22 ˚ 35 ’ 05.0” E. 45 ˚07’ 51.8 ”, 725m, 17.i. 2013, L.S.Rahanitriniaina & E.M.Rabotoson (BMNH). Paratypes: 2 examples, same data as holotype.
