Materials Examined
Type material. Holotype, female, from Ulmus sp. (Ulmaceae), Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, P.R. China, 16 September 2004, coll. Xiao-Feng Xue. Paratypes, 8 females with the same data as holotype. Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf undersurface. No damage to the host was observed.
Etymology
Etymology. The specific designation shaoguanense is from the name of the location, Shaoguan City, where the new species was collected. Differential diagnosis. This species is similar to R. ulmi Kuang, 1998, but can be differentiated from the latter by ventral annuli smooth (ventral annuli with microtubercles in R. ulmi), setae h 1 present (setae h 1 absent in R. ulmi).
