Type locality
Balearic Islands (western Mediterranean Sea).
Distribution
Mediterranean Sea: WB, LB. New record for the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
Habitat
Until 13 m depth, in coarse sands, among Posidonia oceanica rhizomes.
