Natural history
In Saskatchewan, one female was captured on a sandy beach. In Newfoundland, adults were collected in riparian areas (Klimaszewski et al. 2011[2]). Elsewhere, adults were collected by treading wet moss on muddy shores of shallow lakes (Klimaszewski et al. 2011[2]). The adults were collected from June to August.
