Dryinus koebelei
From Species-ID
Dryinus koebelei (Perkins, 1905)
NOTES
- I discovered this species to be present in New Zealand
- it is certainly adventive (exotic) in N.Z., as claimed by Olmi (2007) and Olmi & Villemant (2009), despite not being classified as such by NZIB/NZOR
- I can now confirm that a (and possibly the only) host in N.Z. is the adventive flatid Siphanta acuta
- in the field, I have now seen dryinidised Siphanta acuta immatures, with adult female Dryinus koebelei in the close vicinity
