Type species: Razanus beniowskii Banaszkiewicz & Szwedo, 2005, by original designation.

Diagnosis

The genus is characterized by:

  • The anterior cubital area of the forewing encloses two cells.
  • The terminal vein of CuA1+2 joins the posterior branch of M.
  • CuA forks basad of the junction of the claval veins (Y-junction).
  • The apical anterior cubital cell is shorter than the basal one.
  • A cross-vein between r-m is missing.
