Distribution
Canada: BC, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS, NL; USA: AZ*, DC, IL, IN, IA, KY, ME, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH*, PA, TN, WA, WI, WV (Seevers 1951[1]; Campbell and Davies 1991[2]; Majka and Klimaszewski 2008a[3]; Klimaszewski et al. 2009[4]; Klimaszewski et al. 2011[5]). Adventive in Canada.
Comments
This adventive species was accidentally listed as occurring in Ontario in Klimaszewski et al. (2007a)[6] and was subsequently included as occurring there in other accounts of adventive Aleocharinae (Gouix and Klimaszewski 2007[7]; Klimaszewski et al. 2010[8]). The above data represent the first confirmed records of this species in Ontario, as early as 1925.
