Description
External features as in generic description. Male genitalia: Pygophore quadrilateral in shape, covered with macrosetae posteriorly and some at midventral margin; posterior margin truncate with process dorsally and ventrally and membranous process at inner apex, covered with tiny setae. Subgenital plate short and wide, not extending beyond pygophore, posterior margin straight, with several macrosetae. Connective Y-shaped, shaft robust, arms well developed. Style very long, extending beyond subgenital plate, region beyond lateral lobe long with apex produced medially, acute. Aedeagus with small basal projection dorsally; shaft relatively straight in lateral view, with pair of subapical appendages each with small basal tooth; phallotreme apical on ventral surface.
Measurement. Male 8.8mm long (including tegmen).

Discussion
Remarks. This species is very similar to Abrus wuyiensis Dai and Zhang externally, but can be distinguished from the latter by: 1) subgenital plate short and wide, not extending beyond pygophore and with posterior margin truncate; 2) basal projection of aedeagus very small.
Etymology
Etymology. This new species is named for the very short subgenital plate.
