Natural history

In Alberta, a single female was collected in a white spruce dominated stand using a window trap installed on the trunk of a recently girdled white spruce. Elsewhere, adults were captured in various forest types, agricultural fields, a disturbed meadow with Salix shrubs, and vegetation on coastal sand dunes (Klimaszewski et al. 2011[1]). The adults were collected from March to October.
