The Rhotanini are a group of small Derbidae that are characterized by their broad forewings which have a basal median cell, not surpassing the first third of the forewing. The group is found in the humid tropics of southern Asia, eastern Australia and the Pacific Islands. A small number of species of the genus Muiralevu also occur in western Africa.
