Distribution
Egypt, Ethiopia, Israel, Morocco. Also reliably known from Saudi Arabia and Oman (Pont 1991[2]). In Ethiopia Lispe cilitarsis seems uncommon and restricted to northern regions in comparison with resembling Lispe ethiopica sp. nov., so specimens from Africa should be re-examined and so far I regard other Afrotropical records as doubtful.
