Distribution
Canada: ON, QC, NB, NL; USA: AL, IL, IN, KY, MO, NH, NY, TN, VA, WA, WV; widespread in Palaearctic region, possibly cosmopolitan (Fauvel 1889[1]; Klimaszewski and Peck 1986[2] (as A. insecta); Gusarov 2003a[3]; Smetana 2004[4]; Majka and Klimaszewski 2008c[5]; Webster et al. 2009[6]; Klimaszewski et al. 2011[7]). Adventive in Canada.
