Canada: ON; USA: AR, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, KS, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI (Seevers 1951[1]). Native.
Comments
. The genus Phanerota is newly recorded in Canada based on specimens collected on mushrooms in extreme southern Ontario. This genus may reach its northern distributional limit in southern Ontario, as it was not reported in a recent review of New Brunswick Gyrophaenina (Klimaszewski et al. 2009[2]).
